Music Love: "The Night We Met" by Lord Huron

I'm not going to post much about this song. I love the vocals. I love the lyrics:

I am not the only traveler
Who has not repaid his debt
I've been searching for a trail to follow again
Take me back to the night we met

And then I can tell myself
What the hell I'm supposed to do
And then I can tell myself
Not to ride along with you

I had all and then most of you, some and now none of you
Take me back to the night we met
I don't know what I'm supposed to do, haunted by the ghost of you
Oh, take me back to the night we met

When the night was full of terrors
And your eyes were filled with tears
When you had not touched me yet
Oh, take me back to the night we met

I had all and then most of you, some and now none of you
Take me back to the night we met
I don't know what I'm supposed to do, haunted by the ghost of you
Take me back to the night we met

But most of all, I love how sad and beautiful it is.

We've both featured Lord Huron songs! I like this one, but I'm a sucker for arpeggio guitar stuff, that probably has a real name that I don't know.

The other night when I was working on blog stuff, I just let You Tube roll with Lord Huron. I got to hear a goodly number of songs, before it switched me to someone else.

They're good stuff! I'm pretty sure I downloaded the first song I ever got of theirs from one of those Starbucks free song cards they used to give away. I wonder if they still do that?
