Ah, good old Andorra. In elementary school, we had to write a report about a country and I chose Andorra, mostly because it was so small. You gotta love a country that has fewer people than the city in which I now live (or the city which I grew up, for that matter) and whose top ten cities by population, as listed on Wikepedia, end with #10 having about 1,000 people. Crazy Europe with it's crazy "countries."
ReplyDeleteI was actually grousing at Dan when I was typing out the top 5 city names, "Why are all their city names so long when the cities themselves are so tiny?" Including its suburbs, Andorra la Vella only has like 40K residents. Sheesh.
ReplyDeleteI also find it weird that, even though it's a separate country, it's co-ruled by two "princes," one from France and one from Spain. Reminds me of that Bible story about the mothers who want to split the baby.
